I like The Wind Chimes too, and I don't understand why there are so many people in this list who don't like it!

After seeing this, and recalling that yesterday I too was asking 'why is everyone so down on TB2 all of a sudden?', I have decided to formulate Rory's Four Laws of the Amarok List:

Where X is any song, instrumental, album, single or lyric by Michael Gordon Oldfield:

  1. At any one time there will be one or more members of the Amarok list who love X;
  2. At exactly the same time there will be one or more members of the Amarok list who hate X;
  3. Should any of the members referred to in the first law express their views about X on the list, one or more members referred to in the second law will respond with some sarcastic comment about X to the effect that it bites the big one;
  4. Should any of the members referred to in the second law express their views about X on the list, one or more members referred to in the first law will respond that they don't understand why everyone on the list seems to hate X.

(Mathematicians and computer scientists will recognise the potential danger that laws three and four will result in an infinite loop.)
