The ideal way to spend my last day in the US: at the ballgame. Lewis and Ayumi, my roommates these past six weeks, took me to see the Oakland Athletics play the New York Yankees at Oakland Coliseum. The A's got creamed in the first inning, 6-0, and even though they clawed their way back to 7-5 down by the 5th, they couldn't add those crucial extra runs in the last few innings. A disappointment for the home crowd, but I had a great time anyway being there amongst them, listening to the 'Star Spangled Banner' and the cheesy organ, eating a hot dog with everything on it, and shouting "Let's Go A's!"

If you've got time for a 1MB download, check out Lewis's movie clip of the game for that genuine A's fans atmosphere.
